Adele specialises in teaching our Pre-School aged children ranging in age from four months through to five years. Adele lives on a local property with her young family as well as two dogs and lots of possums. Adele brings a lot of experience to our team and is very popular with our families. We are also very fortunate to have her as part of her team because she keeps us well nourished with lychees, mango’s, macadamia’s and citrus fruit.


Leigha joined our team in 2018 and also has a young family. Leigha brings a great energy and enthusiasm to Swim 1 and teaches all levels from infant’s through to school age groups. Leigha enjoys surfing and spending time with her son.


Mark is the owner of Swim 1 and teaches our afternoon classes. Mark has his Cert 4, Bronze Coaching Licence, Infant Teaching Cert, as well as numerous other awards. It is very exciting starting school for the first time as it also means that Mark might be your teacher in the afternoons. Mark specialises in building efficient strokes with fitness and encouraging swimmers to enjoy swimming as a life skill. Mark enjoys spending time with his family and his favourite football teams are Essendon, Bulldogs and when it is State of Origin time he enjoys decorating the pool in Maroon banners.


Angela is the multi tasker and wears numerous hats throughout the week. Angela has an Early Childhood Teaching Degree as well as numerous other certificates. Angela specialises in Early Childhood Development Programs and building this in to the swimming curriculum. Swimming in water provides opportunities to promote development that can be limited on land. Angela also looks after the administration requirements of Swim 1. Angela enjoys camping, reading and watching her children play sports.
